FT Insight is Sierra Leone’s first business only focused magazine. It’s published six times a year and is aimed at Sierra Leone’s existing and future business people.

Our tagline is “The only magazine for those that do business in Sierra Leone.”

The magazine translates the initiative, creativity, vibrancy, sheer doggedness and drive for change that is at the heart of Sierra Leone's business sector, into words. Our aim is to drive progress within Sierra Leone's private sector by telling its story. We challenge preconceptions about doing business in Sierra Leone. We focus on the opportunities and equip the country's entrepreneurs, policy makers and investors with the information to succeed in one of the continent's most challenging business climates.

We are currently looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive to join our growing team and help our magazine grow. The Sales & Marketing Executive will work closely with the publisher and editor to help build FT Insight’s audience and generate awareness of what the publication has to offer the country’s business community.

The Sales & Marketing Executive will help FT Insight grow its readership and expand its database by going out into the community to research the market and collect valuable feedback. 80% of the job will be visiting targeted businesses to discover who is or isn't reading the magazine and why.

The Sales & Marketing Executive will also build rapport to find out what type of stories these companies want to read. The remaining 20% will be work in-house supporting the publisher and updating the FT Insight database.

Desired Experience: Candidates with experience in one or more the following areas is desirable: • Very knowledgeable with Microsoft Office; especially Excel • Good communication skills • Social media skills- Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram • Organisational skills Essential Capabilities: Candidates should demonstrate the following capabilities (clearly highlight corresponding areas in their CVs): Effective listening, learning, and communicating; Teamwork; Good writing in English; Strategic thinking
