SLFA President Madam Isha Johansen and The President of The Federation Royale Marocaine De Football (FRMF) Mr Fouzi LEKJAA,
Today signed a historic partnership agreement at the FRMF headquarters in RABAT Morocco.
The two federations have seized the opportunity to build a relationship of trust and cooperation between their federations in a bid to promote mutual football development which will benefit the youth of both countries.
According to both FA Presidents at this morning's signing ceremony, both federations will embark on exchange programs which will centre around the national and local female teams, friendly matches for both male and female teams, training and engagement of Sierra Leone technical and administrative officials.
Madam Johansen addressing senior federation officials and the media thanked the President of the FRMF adding that she has always emphasized that "football is more than 90 minutes on the pitch. Solidarity and embracing humanity through football is far more valuable in promoting a nations football development."
Further adding "this is a symbolic moment for Sierra Leoneans, and from this day onwards the ties between our countries through football will take on a new dimension and be further strengthened through football"
